WARD , MARY VIOLET - In hospital in Ottawa, after a lengthy illness on Saturday January 25, 2014. Born in Bras d’Or Cape Breton N.S. Violet was a homemaker and devoted mother. With her husband Ray, they founded the Oromocto SPCA and were devoted animal lovers. Violet enjoyed baking and always supplied most of Moncton with her chocolates and fudge (especially at Christmas time). She will be sadly missed by her children, Penny Trussell (David) of Nepean, Gregory of Toronto, adopted daughter Michelle Broadhurt of Stouffville; cherished grandchildren Tracy MacRonald (Robert) of Bermuda, Derek Trussell of Nepean and Great Grandson, Owen MacRonald of Bermuda.
