Paul was born in 1923 at St. Isadore de Bellevue, SK to a family of 13 children. After leaving home he trained as an electrician and operated an electrical contracting business for several years. He then branched into retail, selling TV’s, appliances and eventually furniture. He established and operated his own company calling it Houle Electric and Furniture. On October 1st of 1994, after 44 successful years in business Paul decided it was time to retire. Paul travelled extensively in his younger years and his hobbies were collecting and showing Lincoln cars, playing cards and going for walks. He also liked country music as well as some classical. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. In Paul’s final years of retirement he was very well cared for by the staff at Mont St. Joseph. Paul leaves to celebrate his life, his loving wife Frances; daughter Christine (Lowell Stark) and their children Jennifer, Ashley & Michael; son Marty (Sharyn) and their children Riley & Kelsey; son Lionel (Lesley) and their children Samantha & Ethan; his brothers Bud (Amelie) & Guy (Yolande); his sisters Delores & Sr. Huguette and numerous sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by an infant son Andrew in 1960; his parents Walter & Marie-Jeanne and his brothers Len, Bruno, Allan, Raymond, Constant, Ovide, Tony & Rev Gustave. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father Maurice Fiolleau. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Mont St. Joseph Foundation, 777 – 28th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 8C1 or Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301 – 2550 – 12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, Lorne Adams, Funeral Director (306-922-4729).
