Passed away on February 12, 2014 at the Health Science Centre, Gerald Bishop at age 90. Predeceased by his brothers Fred and Harry. He was a true gentleman to the end and is sadly missed by the love of his life Mary and children; Geraldine (George), Harris (Madonna) and Christine. Five grandchildren G.J., Michael, Chelsea, Julia and Nicole; one great-granddaughter Sierra. Also left to mourn, his dear sister Joan; sisters-inlaw Lillian and Lucille; special eldest nephews and niece Doug Byrne, Wayne Evans and Lillian Joy; dear friends Mary (Jack deceased) Hearn and Danny (Betty deceased) McIsaac; cousin Roy Bishop and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Saturday and Sunday, February 15 and 16, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will held on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 9:30 am at Mary Queen of the World Parish, Topsail Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
