GLENN, MATTHEW - It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Matthew David Glenn “Matt” on February 12th, 2014 at the Oromocto Public Hospital at the age of 81 years. Matt was with the Anglo Society for 18 years, he will be sadly missed by all. He was born on March 25th, 1932 the son of the late David (Beatrice Fulton) Glenn. He is survived by step-son, Justin (Joanna) Best of Kelowna, BC; sisters, Ruby (Wilfred) Mott of Lake Echo, NS, Maudie (Reginald) Kilfillen of Chipman, Hazel Raimondo, Wanetta (Victor) Capozzi and Linda Glenn all of Montreal, QC, Nancy Buckley of Saint John, NB; brother, Joseph (Shirley) of Browns Flat, NB. Also survived by a special loving friend, Glenna Lloyd. Matt was predeceased by his wife, Maureen; sisters, Mary, Betty and Connie.
The family will receive comfort on Saturday, February 15th, 2014 from 4 to 8 pm at the Chipman Funeral Home (339-6612). Funeral service to be held at the Chipman United Church, Sunday, February 16th, 2014 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Kris Austin and Rev. Betty-Jean Friedman officiating. Interment will be in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family. www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca
