Aloisia  Kolmschlag

KOLMSCHLAG, ALOISIA (LUISE)- 1914-2014- Aloisia Kolmschlag, 99, of Saint-Norbert, passed away peacefully ,at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Thursday February 27,2014. She was married to the late Johann Kolmschlag (1942). Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Georg and the late Margarete Lena (Weiss) Schwantner. Luise was the curator of a museum in Hersbruck, Germany. She completed all tasks, including tours, meetings, administration, etc. When she immigrated to Canada in 1988 the city hired eight employees to replace her. She was known as the good ghost of the museum, as she was always there. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Ellengard Keeling (Gordon) of Saint-Norbert, her grandchildren; Katrin Warman (William), Horst Vestner and Klaus Vestner, her eight great-grandchildren, her two great-great-grandchildren, her two great-great-great-grandchildren and her niece, Theresa. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Luise was predeceased by a grandson, Hans.
As per Luise’s wishes there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be held in the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, on Tuesday March 4, 2014 at 2:00pm. In Luise’s memory a donation can be made to the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital , to the family or to the charity of your choice. A special thank you to Dr Jamila Nait Ajjou and the staff of the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital for the professional care and love given to my mother in her last days. Their care and consideration provided to Luise is greatly appreciated by the family.
