Mélanie LeBlanc

LeBLANC, MÉLANIE - 1984 - 2014 - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing on Friday, February 28, 2014, of a very special angel, Mélanie LeBlanc, 29, of Sainte-Marie-de Kent, NB. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Gérald and Norma (Landry) LeBlanc. Mélanie was passionate about her work with young children. During her time with us she faced many health challenges with dignity and courage. Mélanie was an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her big beautiful eyes, her smile and her determination. She will be our guardian angel. She was involved with the Air Cadets, Relay for Life, Catechism Parents and many other organizations. She will be sadly missed by her parents, Gérald and Norma, her sister, Joanne LeBlanc (Claude) of St-Jacques, her brother Michel (Jeremy) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, her special friend Gabriel LeBlanc, her grandmother, Marie LeBlanc, aunts, uncles and cousins. Mélanie was predeceased by a nephew, Xavier, her paternal grandfather, Gérard LeBlanc and her maternal grandparents, Rodolphe and Viana Landry.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église in Bouctouche, on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 7 to 9pm and on Thursday at the Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent from 2 to 4 and from 5:30 to 6:45pm.
