RICHARDS, FRANCES HELEN (Clark) - Frances was born on the family farm at Delisle, SK on April 24, 1923 and passed away in Prince Albert, SK on February 16, 2014. Frances is survived by her husband of 68 years, Irvin Richards, her son Allan (Kenda) Richards of Regina, SK, her daughter Anne Moeller, of Prince Albert, SK; her grandchildren, Lindsay Richards (Lincoln Flanagan) and children Emilia and Jack; Logan Richards; Jason (Ruth) Moeller and children Cassie and Yvette; Stacy Moeller (Paul Beaudean) and daughter Willow and many nieces and nephews.

Frances attended Lashburn High School, graduated from Saskatoon Teachers College and taught in the Tako School District where she meet her husband Irvin. They had a brief stint at farming before Irvin began work with the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool living and moving to various farm communities before settling in Prince Albert in the 1950's. Frances became active in the community with the Co-op Guild, the NDP and was among the first board members of the Prince Albert Community Clinic. She went back to teaching in the mid-1960's eventually retiring from the Spruce Home School after a move to the Christopher Lake area.

Irvin and Frances retired to their cottage at Little Bear Lake and a home at Bull Head City, Arizona where they spent many happy years entertaining friends and family. They loved to travel and covered much of North America from Mexico to the Arctic. They relocated to Saskatoon in their 70's and were active volunteering with the Forestry Farm and library. Irvin and Frances moved into assisted living in Prince Albert a few years ago. Frances most recently was a resident of the Herb Bassett Home.

Respecting Frances’ wishes, the family will hold a private memorial this summer at Little Bear Lake.
