At l'Hôpital Laurentien, Ste-Agathe-des-Monts in Québec on February 25, 2014, Angèle Arsenault of Saint-Sauveur, Québec and formerly of Abrams Village, Prince Edward Island, passed away. Daughter of the late Josephine and Arthur Arsenault, she leaves to mourn six brothers and seven sisters: Raymond (Yvonne) NS, Pierre (Lucille) NB, Rose from Ontario, Julia from Québec, and from Prince Edward Island: Priscille (Armand), Marie-Anne (late Reginald), Sister Marie CND, Leonie (Clarence), Robert (Rita), Eunice, Rheal, Gerald (Pattaya), Jacques (Sylvie) as well as many nieces and nephews. As a singer-songwriter, she has, through the years, captivated the hearts of her listening public, young and old, with her songs of love of life. With her legendary smile she will remain a star for us through her song, ''Y'a une étoile pour vous'', ''There is a star for you''. The family and Lorraine Dégagné would like to thank the CLSC in Saint-Sauveur for their support. A celebration of her life will be held at the Théâtre d'Outremont in Montreal on March 15, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. Details regarding the funeral service to be held in Prince Edward Island will be given at a later date.
