Maurice Frederick Hyde
December 18th 1953 – February 28th 2014
Maurice Hyde, age 60 years old, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on February 28th, 2014 at St. Paul’s Hospital. Maurice is survived by his loving wife Helen, of 37 years; his children Tanya (Allan) Jungman, Brad (Ashley), and Jenna-Lee; his grandchildren Aidan, Kalyn, Halle, and Ethan; his mother, Rolande; his sisters Lucille (Larry) MacFadyn, Geraldine (Edward) Gervais, and Rose Marie (Archie) Gannon; his brothers Jean (Val), Gerald, and Joe (Helen); his in-laws Mary, Margaret (Peter), Justina, Sarah (John), Dave (Christine), Bill (Blanche), Ed (Irene), Menno (Mary), John (Shirley), Esther (Aaron), Bernie (Natalie), Ruth (Darrell), and Danny (Lisa); along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Harry, his grandparents, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, and his grandchild, David.
Maurice’s family would like to thank the generous caregivers at Sherbrooke care home for their genuine kindness and loving care, as well as the nursing staff and doctors at St. Paul’s Hospital for their help and compassion.
A celebration of Maurice’s life was held Thursday March 6th at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeview Free Methodist Church (#16 Highway and Boychuck Drive). Arrangements were entrusted to Cherished Memories Funeral Home and Crematory (306-242-7888).
