BOYD, HOWARD - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Howard E. Boyd of Hatfield Point, husband of Eileen (Mott) Boyd. Howard passed away on March 24, 2014, at Bobby’s Hospice, Saint John, NB, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Born on February 24, 1936, he was a son of the late Everett and Elsie (Brown) Boyd. Howard is survived by his wife of 57 years, Eileen; sons: Mitch Boyd and his wife Wendy of Cambridge Narrows and Brent Boyd and his wife Joy of Sussex; daughter Sherrie Boyd and her husband David Forestell of Quispamsis; grandchildren: Tyler Boyd, Ashley (Chris) Arsenault, Peter Boyd, Michael and Monica Forestell, and Ellen, Allison and Nolan Boyd; brother Garnet Boyd and his wife Paulette; sister Rosalie Wood and her husband Will; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre, (506-839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton with visitation on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 2 to 5pm and 6 to 8pm. The funeral service will be held from Outreach Pentecostal Church, 2129 Route 124, Hatfield Point at 11:00am on Saturday, March 29, 2014 with Rev. Charles Kennedy presiding. Interment will take place in the spring in the Bayview Cemetery, Hatfield Point, NB. The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to Bobby’s Hospice for the exceptional care Howard received.
