Montreal – Hilton R. Dixon, formerly of Saint John, New Brunswick passed away peacefully on March 28, 2014 in Montreal Que at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Winifred (Seale) Dixon with whom he celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary February 24, 2014.
Hilton was born October 24, 1928, the son of the late George Dixon and Muriel (Goldsmith) Dixon.
He served in the Canadian Army for many years and worked at Canadian National Railways.
Beside his wife, he is survived by three children Carolyn Ann Rucks, Massachusetts, Brenda Jean Dixon and Hilton Richard Jr ( Marie Claude),Quebec and seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and His brother Blair Dixon and sister Beatrice Pearson.
He was the brother of the later Betty Dixon, Leonard Dixon, Robert Dixon, Phyllis Thompson, Norma Goree, Stanley Dixon, Frank Dixon, and Eleanor Jean White.
