The death of Robert Wayne "Bobby" Eagles, 67, occurred suddenly at his home on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Born in Joggins, NS, Bobby was a son of the late Lloyd and Annie (Lewis) Eagles.
Bobby enjoyed his time with his family, especially "Papa's girl", Cassidy. He was an avid hunter and card player. He enjoyed music and attended many local events.
Bobby will be sadly missed by his wife of 36 years, Nancy (nee Mills); his daughter, Jennifer and his granddaughter, Cassidy, all of Joggins; two grandsons, Jacob & Rylie, both of Kentville; one brother, Kenneth (Frances), of Sackville; nephews Larry, Marc and Brent and nieces Shirley, Linda, Karen, and Heather.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Muriel and Helen.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Furlong~Jones Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be held at Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, River Hebert from 6-9 pm on Thursday, April 3, 2014. A funeral service for Bobby will be held at Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, AMHERST, on Friday, April 4 at 2 pm.
Donations in Bobby's memory may be made to assist the family or to the Joggins Legion or the Joggins Fire Department.
