GAUTREAU, AUREA - Aurea Gautreau of Residence Bellevue, Dieppe (formerly of Gautreau Village) passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the age of 86. Born on August 7, 1927 in Belliveau Village, she was the daughter of the late Camille V. LeBlanc and the late Eveline Bourgeois. She worked at the Institut of Memramcook until her retirement. She was a member of the Pre-D’en-Haut Golden Age Club. She is survived by her two daughters, Jeannine Leblanc of Memramcook and Huberte (Eugene) Gaudet of Pre-D’en-Haut; one son, Leandre Gautreau (Jeanne Martin) of Pre-D’en-Haut; six grandchildren: Martin, Serge, Rejean, Claude, Christian and Nathalie; five great grandchildren: Remi, Danika, Mikaelle, Malix and Madeleine; five sisters, Dora LeBlanc and Evelina (late Alban) Leger both of St-Joseph, Cecile (Leandre) Gautreau and Aline LeBlanc both of Dieppe and Rita (Ulysse) Richard of Notre Dame; four brothers, Yvon (Lucie) LeBlanc of Moncton, Aurele (Yvette) LeBlanc and Leonard (Marie-Marthe) both of Dieppe and Antoine LeBlanc of Moncton and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard (2009), two sisters, Marie (infant) and Jeannette.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home 15 Rte La Vallee, Memramcook on Monday April 7 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral service will be held at Notre Dame de l’Annonciation church, Pre-D’en-Haut on Tuesday April 8 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
