RINGER, Enos Lovering – age 85, of Yarmouth, passed away on April 12, 2014 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts on August 24, 1928 he was a son to the late Enos and Bertha (Andrews) Ringer. Enos was never lost for words, had a quick wit, could always make you laugh and see the lighter, happier side of life. He was a truck driver for 12 years and retired bus driver. He was a member of the Pickering rescue boat for 5 years and was also a member of the Cedar Lake Baptist Church. He enjoyed bowling in his spare time, was an avid antique car buff and a member of the Antique Auto Club. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Elizabeth (Sherman) Ringer. Besides his parents he was predeceased by sisters, Avis Smith, Hilda Hamilton, Hazel Rafuse, and Beverley Loosley; and brother, Oscar. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium Yarmouth. Visitation was held Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 7-9 P.M. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral service was held Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 2 P.M. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Larry Pennell officiated. Interment followed in Cedar Lake Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to the Tri County Victorian Order of Nurses, or a charity of your choice.
