VANDERKLOET, SONJA - Sonja Denise VanderKloet of Somerville, a beloved teacher at Hartland Community School, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born January 9, 1971 in Wolfville, NS. She was predeceased by her mother, Margaret VanderKloet and a brother Terence VanderKloet. Sonja is survived by her grandfather, Gerben VanderKloet of Kentville, NS; father, Harry VanderKloet of Elliot lake, ON; sisters, Trish (Rob) Vanderkruk of Waterdown, ON, Heather (Mike) Zylstra of Huntsville, ON, Melanie (Mark) Buitenhuis, Huntsville, ON, Jessica (Jeff) Côté of North Bay, ON; brother, Geoff (Lisa) VanderKloet of Huntsville, ON; nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn, Alannah, Ryan, Caleigh, Tieren, Mariah, Bret, Madelyn, Eliana, Heath, Shane, and Dean; plus her loved New Brunswick Family.
The public is invited to visit with Sonja's family on Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland, A celebration of Sonja's life will be held on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. from the Hartland Community School Gymnasium.
