BRANNEN, Cecil Elsworth, 51, of Clam Point, Shelburne County died at Fisher Lake, Annapolis Royal on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 as the result of a boating accident. Born at Shelburne on February 26, 1963, he was a son of Ross and Barbara (Stewart) Brannen, Clam Point. Cecil was an avid fisherman and loved bass fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He enjoyed singing. Besides his parents, he is survived by son, Christopher Baker (Amanda Barkhouse), Clyde River; daughter, Sasha Baker, Sylvan Lake, Alberta; brother Todd (Jill), West Pubnico; sisters, Yvonne (Rick) Tremblett, Stoney Island, Luella Brannen, Clam Point; three step grandchildren. Cecil was predeceased by a brother, Clifford. Funeral service was on Saturday, April 19 at the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, Pastor Bradley Pass officiating. Burial will be in the Atlantic Cemetery, Stoney Island. Memorial donations may be made to the Kid’s Club at the Island Gospel Tabernacle, Clam Point.
