PONEY, DORINA - Dorina Poney of Villa Providence, Shediac (formerly of Pre-D’en-Haut) passed away at her residence on Monday, April 28, 2014 at the age of 78. Born on May 4, 1935 in Pre-D’en-Haut, she was the daughter of the late Cyril Gautreau and the late Eveline Auffrey. She worked as a office manager for House of Hay (KFC) until her retirement. She is survived by her three daughters, Diane Landry of Moncton, Linda (Gerard) Clarke) of Bedford, NS and Brenda (Francis) Boudreau of La Hetriere; six sister, Anita (Gerard) Gautreau of Pre-D’en-Haut, Celina (Robert) Poirier of St-Joseph, Jeannine (Roger) Cormier and Maria (Francis) Gautreau both of Pre-D’en-Haut, Eva Saulnier of Shediac and Gloria (Laurie) LeBlanc of Breau Creek; four brothers, Donald (Denise) of Memramcook East, Leonce (Lorraine) of Pre-D’en-Haut, Normand (Alberte) of Miramichi and Roger (Marielle) of McGinley; five grandchildren: Julien, Marc, Melanie, Gilles and Julia; one great-grandson Caleb and by several nieces and four nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gilles (1986), one son Michel (1957), one sister Marie and her common-law spouse Rayner Sams (2012).
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 30 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de l’Annonciation church, Pre-D’en-Haut on Thursday, May 1 at 11:00 am. Arrangements are in care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. dupuisfuneralome.ca
