MELANSON, MICHEL "MIKE" - Michel "Mike" Melanson of Shediac (formerly of Pré-D’en-Haut) passed away at North Myrtle Beach, SC on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the age of 63. Born on December 25, 1950 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Dominique Melanson and the late Irène Richard. He worked as an auditor for DSS, Shediac until his retirement. He was a quiet man and he always had a smile. He was a good athlete at hockey, softball, bowling and golf. A while back he was co-owner of race horses. Michel will be sadly missed by his sister, Dorine (Pamphile) Leger of St-Joseph, his relatives and by his many, many friends. He was predeceased by an infant brother Donald.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 7 from 2 to 4 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de l’Annonciation church, Pré-D’en-Haut on May 7 at 7:00 pm.
