It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARY PIERCEY of Fortune announces her passing at her home in Fortune, on Friday, May 23, 2014, at the age of 66. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Husband, Eric of 46 years; Daughters, Margaret Piercey of Conception Bay South and Mary Piercey Lewis (Chris) of Iqaluit; Sister, Lily Mansour of Pickering, ON; Brother, George McAleer (Margaret) of Belfast, Northern Ireland; 2 Grandchildren, Carter Lewis & Edward Lewis; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her Parents, Edward and Mary McAleer.

The Funeral Service took place on Tuesday, May 27, at 2:00 p.m., from the United Church in Fortune. Inurnment will follow at a later date. In Mary’s memory donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or flowers gratefully accepted.
