Emily (Berry) Boyd, RN, 80, died in Cumberland Regional Hospital Nappan on Wednesday, May 28, 2014.
A graduate of Halifax Children's Hospital, Class of 55, she nursed in Truro, NS and Brampton, ON.
Predeceased by parents, Alex R. Berry and Emma (Roode) Berry, sister, Helen Onda Thorpe and a son in infancy.
Survived by husband, Ritchie; daughters, Carolyn Boyd (Dwight Giddens) of Bible Hill, Jane Webber, Lynn Morrell (Lester) both of Moncton, NB.; son, Phillip (Traci) of Brampton, ON; eight grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Also survived by sister Carlene Crouse( Doug) of Grenville Centre, NS; brothers, Keith (Bessie) of Truro, Reg Berry, Don Berry (Peggy) of Shortts Lake, NS; sister-in-law, Pat Berry of Truro, NS.
No funeral by request. Reception to be held June 7, 2014 1-3 p.m. at the Amherst Lions Hall (9 Electric St., Amherst, NS)
