LINEHAN, Roger William — Passed away suddenly as the result of a tragic accident on Friday, December 26th, 2008, Roger William Linehan, age 40 of Goulds, formerly of Admiral’s Beach, St. Mary’s Bay. Predeceased by his parents Edmund and Mary Linehan. Leaving to mourn his common law spouse Lisa Dowden, his two brothers Eugene (Clara) of St. Joseph’s, St. Mary’s Bay, Dermot (Ruth) of Ontario; six sisters, Ann (Gordon) Hearn of Colinet, Marguerite McDonald of Mt. Pearl, Florence (Eugene) McDonald of Kilbride, Eileen (Gerard) Linehan of Fort McMurray, Edith (Gerard) Linehan of St. John’s, Doris (Ian) Linehan of Nova Scotia; brother-in-law Captain Albert McDonald of Mt. Pearl; nieces and nephews Krista and Mark Hearn, Tina and JoAnn Linehan, Matthew, Derek, Melanie and Mitchell McDonald, Kayla and Janine McDonald, Trevor and Travis Ryan, Dale, Corey and Holly Linehan; Ed and Jeanette Dowden of Bay Bulls, Wanda and Rodney Sears of Blacksfalls, Alberta and two special nieces Michiaiah and Jayda Sears who miss and love their uncle Roger very much, we both know you are now joined with the angels of heaven. A special thanks to all the staff at the Health Sciences Complex Emergency Department along with the Eastern Health Paramedics and a special thanks to Constable Paul Didham for all his help and support. Pearl on Monday, December 29th, 2008 and Tuesday, December 30th, 2008 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from St. Kevin’s Roman Catholic Church, Goulds on Wednesday, December 31st, 2008 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Kevin’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.
