Léo Gaudet

Date de décès : 27 juin 2014

GAUDET, LÉO - Léo Gaudet of Belliveau Village passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014 with his family by his side when he peacefully drifted off at the age of 57 as a result of a long battle with cancer. Born on January 29, 1957, he was the son of the late Alfred Gaudet and Laurette Saint-Onge. He was more than a cement finisher. Léo was a good and kind family man. During his fight with cancer, he saw his only daughter get married, his first grandchild born, the completion of many, many projects, the crowning achievement being his beloved green 57 Chevy that finally hit the car shows last summer with the help of several incredible friends. He will be sadly missed by his wife Shirley (Gaudet); one daughter, Kristen (Mathieu) Belliveau of Memramcook; one grandson, Benoit; his mother, Laurette of Saint Joseph; four sisters, Claudette Gaudet (Martin Rice) of Orléan, ON, Jocelyne (Larry) Lindquist of Seattle, WA, Roberte Gaudet of Montréal and Claire Gaudet-LeBlanc (Ronald) of Dieppe; and by several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind many good friends including a few very special ones he considered the brothers he never had.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Thursday, July 3 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook church, St-Joseph on Friday, July 4 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. dupuisfuneralhome.ca
