PAIVA, Joseph – Passed peacefully away at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 28, 2008, aged 91 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Clara; children: Daphne (Ronnie), Alfred (Gillian), Bernice, Clifford (Patsy), Fred (Jenny), Gertrude, Iris and Marie (Cedric); eleven grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends in India and Canada. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday, December 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 11 a.m. from St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Newfoundland Drive.
