It is with great sadness that the family of the late Carrie Vivian Ryan announce her passing on Sunday, June 29th, 2014 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Care Centre, Port Saunders in her 75th year. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, husband Patrick (Pat), children: Walter, Vivian, Agnes (Sterling), Christopher (Josee), Gladys, and Lizeta (Tim); grandchildren: Hillary, Colby, Natalie, Victoria, Emily and Madison; brothers: Fred (Clemmie) Hamlyn and Walter (Margaret) Hamlyn, sister-in-law Hazel Hamlyn. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was was predeceased by her parents Emily & Cyrus Hamlyn, her mom and dad that raised her Carrie & Walter Pike, daughter Mildred, sisters Edna, Iola, Gladys and Pearl, brothers George, Thomas, Robert, Richard, Howard, ALbert and twin brother Calvin (Bud) Hamlyn, Woodrow Pike and Gordon Pike. Visitation will take place from the Roman Catholic Church in Port Saunders on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014 where also funeral mass will take place today, Thursday at 11:00am with interment to follow at the family plot.
