GAUVIN, GERALD NOEL JOSEPH - Gerald Gauvin, 72, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital, on Monday, July 7, 2014. He was married to Maria (Allain) Gauvin. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Gerald and the late Edith (LeBlanc) Gauvin. Gerald was a gas station attendant for numerous years and a Ham Radio Operator (VE9GN). He will be sadly missed by his wife, Maria, his daughter, Lisa of Bouctouche and his son, Robert (Lori Knoll) of Ottawa. He also leaves to mourn three sisters; Simonne Gauthier (Roger) of Champ Doré, Dorainne Ellis of Bouctouche and JoAnne Gauvin of Dieppe, three brothers; Raymond (Marie-Mai Allain), Fernand (Eva), both of Notre-Dame and Yvon (Aldéa Richard) of Tankville, his mother-in-law, Cécile Allain ( late Fidèle) of Saint-Antoine, a special cousin, Dina LeBlanc of Dieppe and several nieces and nephews. Gerald was predeceased by a brother, Oscar.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Club D’ Age D’ Or of Bouctouche, on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 4:00pm. In Gerald’s memory a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
