CORMIER, GERMAINE - Germaine Cormier of Memramcook East passed away at the Dr. Georges L Dumont university hospital center on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the age of 79. Born on May 9, 1935 in Belliveau Village, she was the daughter of the late Gerard Leblanc and the late Zelica Bourgeois. She was a member of the Memramcook Golden Age Club. She will be sadly missed by her husband Yvon; one daughter, Jeannine (Paul) of Memramcook; four sons, Donald (Julia) of Memramcook, Francis (Simone) of Dieppe, Normand (Yvonne) and Gerard both of Memramcook; nine grandchildren: Sophie, Anne, Nicole, Mario, Steven, Sylvie, Jolyne, Julie and Annie; four great grandchildren: Zac, Anabel, Emily and Noah; three sisters, Rita (late Normand) of Dieppe, Rosaline (late William) and Majella (Regis) both of Memramcook; four brother, Leopaul (Rosaline), Robert (Doris) and Ulysse (Diane) all of Memramcook and Camille (Jeannette) of Newton, MA; several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Romeo (1979), one sister Alice and by one brother Dollard.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral Mass will be held at Notre Dame de l’Annonciation church, Pre-D’en-Haut on Wednesday, July 16 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
