Bergstrom, Beatrice (Bea)
January 6, 1937 – July 11, 2014
Beatrice Grace Bergstrom (Leffler) passed away peacefully at Luther Special Care Home on July 11, 2014 at the age of 77. Mom is reunited in heaven with her late husband Michael. Mom is lovingly remembered by her children Bev (Kevin), Dianna, Debbie, Darrin (Glenda), Sheldon (Dawn); eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; her brothers, sisters and their spouses; along with one uncle, one aunt, many cousins, nieces, nephews and their children. Mom was predeceased by her husband Michael in 2000, her parents father Jake, mother Violet (Rutherford) and step-father Arnold Fawcett, brother George, sister-in-laws Doreen, Phyllis, brother-in-law Bill, all of Dad’s brothers and their wives and Mom’s niece Marilyn and nephews Lance and Duncan.
The Funeral Service Celebrating Bea’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18th, 2014 at Saskatoon Funeral Home (4th Avenue & 25th Street), followed by a reception at the Edwards Family Centre. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan or to a charity of your choice.
The family wishes to send a sincere thank you to all the staff and caregivers at Arbor Villa Care Home and Luther Special Care Home. A private interment will take place at a later date.
