Margaret Martyn (Batten)
August 13, 1928 – July 12, 2014



It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret (Peggy) Lesley Martyn (nee Batten) announces that Peggy passed away July 12, 2014. A former long time resident of Prince Albert, Sk., Peggy was predeceased by husband, Mel Martyn (1997) and grandson, Wade Custer (2001). She is survived by son Doug (Joan) Martyn, daughter Diane (Allan) Earle, grandchildren Christine (Tim) Hardy, Colleen Martyn, Kurt Martyn, great grandson Cole Hardy and son Rick Martyn. Also survived by a very special niece Lesley (Stephen) Tomporowski.

An informal remembrance of Peggy’s life will be held Thursday, July 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dalmeny Heritage Centre, 230 Ross Avenue, Dalmeny. Donations in Peggy’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Oliver Lodge Foundation. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at the Heritage Way/Maple Lane wings of Oliver Lodge for taking such good care of our mother/grandmother over the last year.
