Passed peacefully away on July 21, at The Lion's Manor in Placentia, John Finn, age 64 years, of Jerseyside, NL. Predeceased by his parents Richard, & Marguerite (Crawley) Finn, brothers Joe, Tom & Richard Finn, sister Mary Ryan and canine companion Aussie. Leaving to mourn are his two devoted sisters Helen (Joe Coady, St. John's), Betty (Nick Butorac, Mount Pearl); brother Gus Finn (St. John's); brother-in-law Jim Ryan (Ottawa); many nieces and nephews, especially his niece Peggy Coady; loyal neighbor and friend Danny Gambin; canine companion Kiwi; other relatives and friends. Resting at Mahers' Funeral Home, Placentia, with visitation on Tuesday, July 22 from 11am - 9pm. Funeral mass to take place on Wednesday, July 23 at 2pm from Sacred Heart Church, Placentia. Cremation to follow with inurnment at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Placentia to take place at a later date. Donations in John's memory may be made to the St. John's SPCA or Beagle Paws.
