CYR, EILEEN - (1926 - 2014) - Eileen Cyr passed away peacefully at The Village Nursing Home in Campbellton, surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 19, 2014. She was born on July 23, 1926, in Campbellton to the late Emerson Targett and Jeanetta Johnson. Eileen is survived by her husband Claude "Buck" Cyr, two daughters: Phyliss (David) Roy of Campbellton, Patricia (Paul) Wright of Moncton, and two sons: Carl (Susan Roy) of Campbellton and Derek (Colette Robichaud) of Dieppe; seven grandchildren: Jason, Tina, Jessica, Kirk, Phil, Robyn and Mitchell, and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters and two brothers: Connie Ahier, Betty Targett, Lloyd Targett and Arnold Targett.
The family received relatives and friends at Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton on Wednesday, July 23, visiting hours: 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM.
Funeral service to be held at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church in Campbellton on Thursday, July 24 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the Campbellton Nursing Home, SPCA or Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
