Elizabeth Anne Ross Stewart – age 70, of Truro, formerly of Bridgeville passed away July 23, 2014 in the QE II Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Bridgeville she was a daughter of the late William O. and Maisie Gray (Fraser) Ross.
Betty Anne had been a resident of Truro for the past 30 years. She was a devoted mother and stayed at home to raise her children. Betty Anne was a member of Bridgeville United Church.
She is survived by sons Pat (Cheryl), Truro; Shawn (Susan), Belmont; Colin (Crystal), Truro; daughters Carolyn Stewart (Bud), Truro; Leanne (Darryl) Matheson, Truro; 8 grandchildren; brother James “Sonny” (Dianne) Ross, Bridgeville; sister Carolyn Sharpe, Plymouth.
Cremation has taken place. A public graveside service will be held at 11 am Sunday in the Bridgeville Cemetery with Rev. Bonnie Fraser officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to the Diabetic Association or the CNIB. Arrangements are under the direction of the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
