Margaret Elaine Grolla
April 17, 1931 – July 24, 2014

Margaret, born April 17, 1931 at Regina, SK and passed away in Prince Albert on July 24, 2014 at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 83. Margaret was married to Walter for 54 years prior to his passing. Margaret was employed by Prince Albert Foundry/AIM Supply for over 30 years with a variety of experience prior, including the Hard Plywood Mill, the Sanitorium, and waitressing. Margaret’s main passions are her kids, grandkids, animals (especially her granddogs!) and golfing in the summer and winter. Margaret also curled, volunteered for Meals on Wheels for 14 years, enjoyed going to dinner theatres and travelling. Margaret cherished her frequent visits across the fence with her special neighbors, Mona and Dixon, for over 50 years. Margaret is survived by her sons Milt (Pam) of Saskatoon, SK and their children October (Chris) and Denver, Gordon of Trail, BC and his children Colton of Prince George, BC and Carson of Trail, BC; and her daughter Mavis (Bruce) Campbell of Stonewall, MB and their daughter Carrie Tyerman of Selkirk, MB; her great grandchildren Dylan and Dakota of Selkirk, MB; sister-in-law, Myrna Matheson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Walter; several brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws; her parents, George and Florence Matheson; sister and brother-in-law, Jean (Bill) Allsop; sister, Irene Catton; and brothers Allan and Jack Matheson. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Gary Schenk officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the S.P.C.A., P.O.
