The death occurred at his late residence on Monday, July 28, 2014 of Alan Geddie Burke of Parkdale, in his 70th year.
Graduate of Nova Scotia Art College; B.A. from St. Thomas University and served as a Lieutenant in The Salvation Army in Manitoba.
Father of John (Tara) Burke, Stephen (predeceased), Molly (Terry) Scott and Benjamin (Krista) Burke. Grampy to Hannah, Matthew, Liam, Lincoln, Luke, Summer and Jaxxon. Brother of Charlotte Burke (Neil). Also remembered by his former wife, Andrea Lillian Brown. Predeceased by his parents, Carl and Florence Burke; brothers, Fraser, Graham, Frederick and John Burke.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment in The Peoples Cemetery.
