It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gladys Edna Osmond, age 88, announce her passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Care Center, on Sunday, August 3, 2014. Predeceased by her husband - Peter; daughter - Cora Davis; parents - Henry & Minnie Randell; siblings - Ephrim Randell, Darius Randell and Emily Small; son-in-law - Dwight Penney; brother-in-law - Prescott Regular; sisters-in-law - Elsie Randell and Millie Randell. Left with fond and loving memories are her children - Betty Brown (Stanley), Mt. Pearl, Garland Osmond (Alma), Shoe Cove, Florence Gray (Ralph), Shoe Cove, Walter Osmond (Catherine), Trepassey, Roy Osmond (Maisie), Baytona, Maude Penny, Antigonish, NS, Lillian Myette (Norm), Antigonish, NS, Wade Osmond, Hampden, Pauline Gray (Randolph), Shoe Cove, Selby Osmond, Fort McMurray, AB, Ken Osmond (Debbie), Toronto, ON and Paul Osmond (Bonnie), Paradise; son-in-law - Garland Davis, Hampden; sister-in-law - Sophie Randell, Hampden fourty-four grandchildren; fifty-two great-grandchildren; special great-granddaughter - Candice Burton; siblings - Maude Regular, Joseph Randell (Ruby), Art Randell (Dolly) and Ken Randell, all of Hampden; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Church of the Epiphany Anglican Church, Hampden on Wednesday, August 6 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 7 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Hampden.
