LeBLANC, LAURIE - 1923 - 2014 - Laurie LeBlanc, 91, of Foyer Saint-Antoine and formerly of Sainte-Marie de Kent, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Foyer Saint-Antoine on Tuesday, August 5th, 2014. He was married to Anita (Landry) LeBlanc of Sainte-Marie de Kent. Born in Sainte-Marie de Kent, he was the son of the late Maxime and the late Dométhilde (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. He will be sadly missed by his wife Anita, his eight children; Bernice Cormier (Maurice), Noëlla Goguen, Patsy LeBlanc all of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Andréa Babineau (Alfred) of Dieppe, Diane LeBlanc (Richard), Roger (Claudette) both of Moncton, Normand of Pickering, ON and Paul (Anita) of Saint-Joseph de Kent, his nineteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn three sisters; Lorraine Maillet of Dieppe, Annette Maillet of Saint-Antoine, Noëlla Cormier of Sainte-Marie de Kent and one brother Eugère (Florence) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one son, Donald, three sisters; Dorine, Ella, Bertha and one brother Alonzo.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Thursday, August 7th, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Friday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Marie de Kent Church on Friday, August 8th, 2014 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery.
