Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Sunday, August 3, 2014, Eileen J. Norman of Western Bay, age 92 years. Predeceased by first husband: Patrick Pittman and second husband: Theodore (Ted) Norman; parents: John and Hanorah Rose; brother: William (Betty, deceased) Rose; sisters: Sarah (Ronald) Howell and Annie (Aubrey) Crummey. Left to mourn, one daughter: Patricia (Frank) Lidstone, Mount Pearl; two grandsons: Darryl (Crystal) and Frank (Melissa); two great-grandaughters: Faith and Rachel; sisters: Catherine (Oscar, deceased) Gauvin, NB, Theresa Sweeney, Mass, USA, Agnes (Robert) Morgan, Carbonear and Alice (James) Wade, St. John’s; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Fr. Cesar Derit conducted the Funeral Mass on Thursday, August 7 from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment took place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Western Bay. Donations in her memory may be made to the North Shore Central Ambulance or the North Shore Fire Department.
