SURETTE, Jessie Florence – age 63, of Lake George, Yarmouth County, passed away on August 9, 2014 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Chatham, New Brunswick on March 1, 1951, she was a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Duplissie) Miller. Jessie is survived by her loving husband, Andre “Gerry” Surette, Lake George; daughters, Paula (Allan) MacGillivray, Oshawa, Ontario; Heidi Surette, Red Deer, Alberta; sisters, Betty (Garth) MacKenzie, New Glasgow; Bertha Purcell and Clara Miller, both of Saint John, New Brunswick; Caroline Power, Inkerman, New Brunswick; Hazel Savoy, Oshawa, Ontario; Kay Coffin, Ayre, Ontario; brothers, Jim Miller, Hope, British Columbia; Tom Miller, North Bay, Ontario; grandchildren, Candace, Kalan, Dakota, Shanice and Malik. She is predeceased by a sister, Viola Jones. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth where visitation was held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, August 11 in Yarmouth. A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Yarmouth, Father Gerald David officiated. An interment will be held at a later date. Family flowers only.
