We are sad to announce the passing of our sister, Joan Van Schaick, 55, of Petawawa, Ont. occurred at the Pembroke Hospital on July 10, 2014.
Joan leaves to mourn her daughters, Stacey (Nicholas) Tippeneskum and Sharon (Christopher) Hine and four granddaughters.
She is survived by her sisters, Linda (Robert) MacLeod, Eileen (Sidney), Glennie and brothers, Bill (Sherry) Light and Bob (Janet) Light.
Besides her parents, Ida (Perrin/Light) Clark and Charles Clark, she was predeceased by her husband Casey in 2008.
A celebration of her life was held on July 17, 2014 at J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, North Sydney with Rev. Robinson officiating. Interment took place following the service in the St. James Cemetery, next to her husband in Big Bras d’Or, Cape Breton.
