Pierre “Russell” Lepine of St. Louis, SK passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 79 years. Russell was born on June 9, 1935 in the Batoche district. Russell leaves to mourn his loving family: his wife Iona (nee Halcro); his children Brent (Agnes) of Alberta, Darrell (Barbara) of Alberta, Laurille of Prince Albert, Wayne of Christopher Lake, Roxane of Alberta, his step-children Donna (Marcel) of St. Louis, Richard (Avis) of Prince Albert; 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; his brothers Garnet (Lucille), Max (Kathleen), Carl (Helen) all of BC; his sister Eugenia (Ron) Healey of Eston, SK; his aunt Alexandrine Richard of St. Louis as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Alice Lepine; his brother Edward (Lena); his sister Irene (Ted) Boechler, his sister-in-law Grace Lepine. You will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 26 from St. Louis Roman Catholic Church by Father Ramel Matapala.
