WATSON, FRANCES - Frances Elizabeth Watson of Kinney Rd, Jacksonville, NB passed away peacefully at the Riverside Court, Woodstock on Monday, August 25, 2014, at the age of 91, with her family at her bedside. Born at Upper Kintore, NB. On August 11, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Rebecca (Barclay) Anderson. Frances graduated from the Perth High School in 1943 and the L.P. Fisher School of Nursing, Woodstock, NB in 1946. Frances married Ralph Watson on December 3, 1949. She worked at the L.P Fisher Hospital, Woodstock, NB and the Northern Carleton Hospital in Bath, NB. Frances greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, she is survived by one daughter, F. Marlene Morin of Lewiston, Maine, two sons, Peter and Linda Watson of Bulls Creek, NB and George and Deanna Watson of Jacksonville, NB. She is also survived by one brother Reginald Anderson of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, seven grandchildren, Yvonne (Malcolm) Nye of Fredericton, Donna (Kirk) Thompson of Quispamsis, Randell Watson of Fredericton, NB, Tracey (Brett) Taylor of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Jenny (Bryan Bosien) of Rothesay, NB, Laurie (Neil) Harding of Westphal, NS, Darren (Lori) Watson Woodstock, NB, thirteen great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Ralph and son-in-law Richard Morin.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB , with visiting on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 2 pm. from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Dale MacDonald will be officiating, with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery. If desired donations made to the Diabetes Association, ALS Society of New Brunswick or a memorial of the donor’s choice will be greatly appreciated by the family.
