TRENTON – Helen’s journey on earth ended September 1, 2014 at 3:15 p.m. in her home.
Born in New Glasgow, she moved to Boylston, Guysborough Co. before school age with her family.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family was a daughter of John and Josephine (Richard) Marr. She had two brothers, Adam and Maurice and a sister, Viola O’Neil.
She married Ernest P. Dunn and had six children: John, Lawrence, Patrick (Patricia), Thelma, Joan and Eileen (Charles) Sorgard; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held later in the week followed by burial at Christ the King Cemetery, Trenton.
Arrangements are under the direction of the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton.­
