Passed away into peace, surrounded by his four children at the Health Sciences Centre on Aug. 27, 2014, Mr. Roland Peyton of St. Lunaire-Griquet in his 82nd year. Roland leaves to mourn his common-law wife Rowena Dredge; his children Darren (April Ward), Deann (Jeff Wyatt), Denise (Andy Labelle), and Dwayne (Tara Peyton); his grandchildren Hailee, Brady, Luke, and Taylor; great-grandchild Bentley and step-grandchildren Scott, Chelsey and Randy. In his time Roland lived to see the passing of his wife Mae, his parents William and Liza, sisters Ethel, Victoria, Jessie, Hazel, Marie and Netta and his brother John. Visitation took place at the Pentecostal Church in St. Lunaire-Griquet, from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014 with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. Burial followed the service in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
