ARSENEAU-BASQUE, CAROLE - 1973 - 2014 - Inkerman Ferry - It is with deepest regret that we announce the death of Carole Arseneau-Basque who died suddenly in Saint John, NB, Friday the 5th of September, 2014 at the age of 41. She was the beloved wife of Marc Basque for two years, and the daughter of Aline (late Gildard Arseneau) of Inkerman Ferry. She leaves behind in grief, her brother whom she loved dearly, Christian (Janice) and her little niece and godchild whom she adored, Mégane. She also leaves behind her biological family; her father, Alderic Gagnon (Bertha), her mother Elizabeth Benoit, her brothers, Dany, Joel, Gilles and Paul-Aurèle. She was the godmother of her niece Julie Benoit, her nephew Henri-Pierre Comeau and her niece Mégane Power. Equally saddened her father-in-law Donat Basque (Irène Savoie); her sisters-in-law, Noella, Viola and Marcia (Jean-Guy); her uncles and aunts, Odete (Rhénald), Berthe (Denis), Lorette (Roland), Patsy (Adelard), Lionel (Late Eva), Rhéal, Julienne, Éveline and Carmelle (Roland) also her nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles, aunts and a number of friends whom she adored. Carole was an immersion teacher at the Millidgeville North School in Saint John, NB for 16 years. She loved the children and loved her work. Her smile, her beauty, her courage, her determination and her great generosity are the qualities of Carole that will not be forgotten by everyone who knew and loved her. Little fragile butterfly, you flew to join your father, Gildard, whom you loved and he will invite you into paradise where there is no suffering, beloved angel. Donations to the parish of St-Michel would be greatly appreciated.
She will be resting at the Bulger Funeral Home at 233 1st Street, Shippagan, NB, from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral will be held at the St-Michel Church on Thursday, September 11, at 4 pm. Funeral arrangements are in care of Bulger Funeral Home. lucienhache@nb.aibn.com 506-336-2370
