BELDING, THERESA M. – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Theresa Mary (Melanson) Belding of Saint John, NB, which occurred on Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was a daughter of the late Michael and Annie May (Extell) Melanson. Theresa is survived by two daughters, Pat Gilliland and Jean Sparkes (Bill); one sister, Betty Petts; two brothers, Michael Melanson Jr. and Ronald Melanson all of Saint John; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by one brother, Edward; one sister, Clara; one grandson, Lucas; one nephew, Gary Bourgeois; two cousins, Edith Wade and Sharon Lomax.
Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB, (634-1965) with visiting on Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and Monday, September 15, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
