The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PEI on Sunday, September 14, 2014 of S. Oscar Howell of Summerside, formerly of Freeland, age 73. Beloved husband of Nina (Boulter). Born in Poplar Grove on June 6, 1941, son of the late Ralph and Pearl (Walfield)Howell. Dear father to Laura (Franc) Pozenel, Mount Pleasant and Linda (Jason) Coughlin, Belmont, Lot 16. Loving grampie to Kaitlyn, Brynne, Isabella, Brooklyn and Jaxon. Oscar is also survived by his sister and brothers: Willard (Sylvia), Summerside, Elmer, Brampton, ON; Lois (Donald) MacKendrick, Birch Hill; mother in law Esther Boulter, Glenwood and sisters and brothers in law:Darlene Howell, Summerside; Miles (Donna) Boulter, Cornwall; Kim (Bev) Boulter, Glenwood; Lois (Wayne) Stubbard, Calgary, AB; Louise (Lloyd) Hardy, Freeland; Leah (Robert) Gravells, Edmonton, AB and Ada (Ron) Chinery, Charlottetown. Predeceased by his parents, father in law Harding Boulter, granddaughter Faith, brothers Harry and Frank. Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral on Thursday at 11:00am at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Summerside.
