WESTVILLE – Joseph Terrance “Terry” MacNeil, age 71, of Campbells Road, Westville, formerly of New Glasgow, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 in the Aberdeen Hospital.
Born in Trenton, he was a son of the late Joseph Duncan and Vera Elizabeth (Jarvis) MacNeil.
He worked at the Pepsi Cola Plant, Hawker Siddeley, A and W Restaurant and the Tara Motel. He was a member of the Trenton AA Group for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Joan (Darroch); son, Joey, New Glasgow; daughters: Cathy (David) Boutilier, Springville; Helen MacNeil, New Glasgow; Terri-Lynn MacNeil, Halifax; grandchildren: Terry, Tamara, Felicia, Peter, Everett, Sherry, Steven and Rebecca; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Joanne MacPherson, New Glasgow.
He was predeceased by son Ricky Allan, sister, Terilene “Shook” and brother, Gary.
Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Donna Tourneur officiating.
