85 of Charlottetown, P.E.I., and formerly of Aylesford, N.S., passed away peacefully Sunday, December 21, 2008, in the Beach Grove Home, Charlottetown, P.E.I. She was the wife of the late Douglas Pierce and the daughter of the late Gordon and Gladys (Carey) Banks. Loving Mom of Millie (Paul) Howatt, Charlottetown, P.E.I. Lovingly remembered by sisters, Mary Bent, Middleton; Millie Banks, Margaretsville; brothers, Ron Banks, Dartmouth; Wayne (Linda) Banks, Timberlea. Loving Nannie of Kelcey. Missed also by special pets, Murray and Rocky. A memorial service was held 2 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2008, in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Vaughan Henshaw officiating. Interment will be in the Aylesford Union Cemetery at a later date.
