It is with sadness that we must announce the peaceful passing of Emma Trenholm, age 81, formerly of Dorchester, N.B. Emma passed away on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville, N.B.
Born in Dorchester, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Roderick and Amy (Mercer) Grant.
Emma is survived by a stepson Carl Trenholm; 2 sisters, Mary Grant, Dorchester and Margaret (Robert) Young, Windsor, Ont.; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edson and brothers Roderick and Charles.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, N.B. (506-364-1300). There will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service in the Bayfield Cemetery will take place at a later date.
