Stanley, John Robert "Bob" - Age 81, of Sand Beach, Yarmouth County, passed away on October 3, 2014 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Yarmouth. Born on May 26, 1933, he was the son of the late, Robert and Mildred (Thibeau) Stanley. Bob was a carpenter for the majority of his life, not only on the jobsite but also at his home. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time at the camp. His true joy came from spending time surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife Rosalie (Gordon); daughters, Sandra Muise (Brian), Barbara Jacquard (Tom Mendoca), Kathy Stanley (Bill Bourque), Lori Jesso (Jackie); granddaughters, Cindy, Kim, Nicole, Melissa, Jennifer, Sarah, Rosalie, Megan and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Pauline and Louetta and brother, Jack. He was predeceased by sister, Barbara and great granddaughter, Gabrielle. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home Ltd., 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. By request of the family there was no visitation. A funeral mass was held on Tuesday, October 7th at 2pm at Saint Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Gerald David officiated. Interment at a later date.
