ROY, LINA - 1935 - 2014 - Lina Roy, 79, of Moncton, passed away at the CHU Dumont, in Moncton on Monday October 20, 2014. Born in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Alexandre and the late Marguerite (Renault) Roy. Lina was a coordinator of medical records for a number of years. She will be sadly missed by her two sisters; Germaine Bastarache of Bouctouche and Jeanne Roy of Montreal, her grand-children; Kayla, Stephane and Julien, her great-grandchildren; Maya and Dominic and several nieces and nephews. Lina was predeceased by her daughter, Linda, two sisters; Bertha and Dora and two brothers; Gerald and Edouard (Ned).
At the request of the family there will be no viewing. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Roman Catholic Church on Friday, October 24th, 2014 at 3:00pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Lina’s memory a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
